The patterns, textures, and forms of nature hold endless inspiration for those who seek it. From the smallest microscopic being to the largest rock formations, there are endless combinations to be admired, studied, and fashioned in one’s own unique vision. Using the ancient techniques of filigree and chasing and repousse, I attempt to represent what nature has to offer with a slightly different point of view. The symbolism of a snail’s shell as home, the beautiful patterns in a paper wasp’s nest, weaver birds creating unique habitats, all have a story waiting to be told.
